I have always wondered how one can actually install a blogger template to suits one owns taste and flavour. I feel that the in the box templates of blogger to be too darn …ugly. Well, maybe its just that I have been exposed too often to those templates. 

Also, I wonder why anyone would want to use the same templates that everyone else is using if you could actually get newer and more exciting templates from other sites such as this and this. 

The template offerings for blogger sites is just so humongous that I sometimes wonder which template I should use. I am just spoiled for choice I guess.

Some people tell me that you need a lot of experience blogging online before you can actually make any real money blogging. I thought that was true too but not when I found a blog belonging to this 13 year old teenager.

He is just 13 years old but has a sizable rss subscribers to boot. Welcome to the world of Carlocab, the teenage blogger whom is having a heck of a time blogging and creating cool waves in the cyberworld.

Can you just imagine what this guy would be in another 10 years time? I would say that he would definitely be ahead of his peers who are not doing the things that he is doing.

He is currently having a contest with Alvin Phang from gathersuccess. The challenge is whom between them can get the most RSS subscriptions within a month.

Alvin has about 800 plus subscribers at the moment and Carlo has more than 2000 people in his stable.

I would definitely want to know who between them wins the contest and I am not actually going to say who I am supporting as I don’t see why I should support one over the other except the fact that I have met Alvin before and he is one great guy with enough zest and energy to turn any situation around.

I wish the best to both bloggers and may the better blogger or in this case RSS collector wins!

I always do a search on blogging matters and somehow or rather I always come back to this site by Lorelle VanFossen.

The blog contains some of the best tips on blogging and matters related to blogging. It even has its own Do-it-Yourself SEO Guide.

Also, not to forget the post on Wordpress Plugins that help monetise your blog. That was pretty useful to me indeed.

Lorelle has published her own book called “Blogging Tip’s: What Bloggers Won’t Tell You About Blogging”. I haven’t read the book but would definitely love to get my hands on that book if I have the opportunity soon.
