3. Learn Photoshop or other reputable graphic design software and design your own 3D ebook or box

design.

The first approach is of course the fastest way you can get your own design and it can be a good idea if time is not on your side and you need a design fast and fabulous. Whats wrong with getting a seasoned designer design a nice, professional looking 3D ebook or box cover right? It will just cost you a few dollars. Well, I think that if speed is what you want and you are not someone who produce an ebook or a new software every month, this can be a good route to take. You can easily get a freelance designer that might be able to do the job for you for something between $10 to $100 dollars and this kinda service can be easily found on GetaFreelancer and Elance.

Look at the freelancer’s portfolio and ask some questions before you engage anyone to do freelance work for you. Another way you can get a seasoned freelancer to do your 3D ebook or box design is to go on Warriors Forum. There, you can ask around for the guy who can do a wonderful job for less and also please don’t forget to use the search function and type “3D ebook cover design” or “3D box cover designer”. I can guarantee you that the search will lead you to a few posts which would lead you to the guy who have tons of experience doing ebook cover and box cover designs. I have personally tried this method for a few things other than this and often I do not leave disappointed.

The second approach is for you to look for a software that can help you roll out a 3D ebook cover as fast as you can say Yahoo! or Google! Well, maybe not that fast. But the point is that there are softwares in the market that can help you get the design cover that you like. It claims that you can design a realistic ebook cover for less than 2 minutes with their software. Thats lightning fast and best of all, you can also try the software out for FREE. Yes, you can just download the software and try it out to see whether you can get the hang of it all and really produce something that looks worthy for a second look. The only thing of course with the demo is that the images produced contains the word DEMO imprinted on it which will disappear once you actually purchase and download the software.I feel that if you are going to need another 3D ebook or box cover anytime soon or that you can actually find someone to share the cost with you, it could be a good investment for the longterm. But the decision is always yours to make and these softwares is often not that pretty cheap to me. But who says good stuff come cheap right?

The third approach is to actually master a software like photoshop or rather learn how to use it to the point that you can design a 3D ebook or box cover yourself without much ado. If you already have a graphic making software and if it is powerful enough to do manipulations for you to produce an ebook cover, why not choose to do it yourself. Sometimes, DIY can be a good thing and you might even discover the hidden talent in you by doing these sort of things. Well, I sometimes do.
